This is a crucial year for Armenian democracy. European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos stated this during a joint statement with Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan in Yerevan Thursday.

Kos said that in June, Armenians will go to the polls for parliamentary elections, but Europe sees malicious actors trying to undermine democratic processes in Armenia every day through cyberattacks, disinformation and other forms of interference, but Europe is in Armenia to help.

Europe will assist Armenia in combating hybrid threats and disinformation so that Armenians can vote freely and fairly and determine the future of their country for themselves, added the European Commissioner for Enlargement.
