The Republic of Armenia has sent humanitarian aid to the Islamic Republic of Iran, primarily in the form of medications. This was announced today, March 23, by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a parliamentary committee session.
"It could not have been otherwise — not only at this moment, but for centuries, for millennia, even beyond the existence of states, the two peoples have been friends. We saw no need to trumpet this, but since you are asking, I am answering," he said.
