Armenia is closely cooperating with Russia on energy technology development and is discussing the construction of a new nuclear power plant, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I must say that we are now working very closely with the Russian side to advance in the field of new technologies, specifically new technologies in energy. You know that we are also discussing the construction of a new nuclear power plant with the Russian Federation. But on these matters, we are completely transparent and do not hide that we are discussing them not only with the Russians but also with other partners, as we are looking for the most advantageous proposal,” the prime minister said.
