Armenia welcomes the entry of the Georgian firm into its market. According to the Deputy Minister of Economy, Helio.AI’s arrival demonstrates that the region is emerging as a hub for technological cooperation and innovation. “The application of artificial intelligence creates new opportunities to enhance labor market efficiency and develop human capital,” the Deputy Minister stated in her speech.
For Helio.AI, the Armenian market holds strategic significance, marking a pivotal phase in the company’s regional expansion. This move reflects the surging interest among cross-border and regional firms to deepen their presence and strengthen partnerships within Armenia.
Speaking with journalists, the company’s director, Ia Jikia, noted that the Armenian market was chosen for its scalability and rapid technological growth.
'We already operate in eight countries and are proud to be expanding into Armenia. Today, HR specialists spend roughly 70% of their time on manual tasks. We automate these processes so they can focus on what matters most—the people,' she stated.
Notably, despite being only two years old, Helio.AI already serves over 500 major brands across multiple countries. As a startup, it received early-stage support from CARE Caucasus’s 'Her Power, Her Future' program, while its entry into the Armenian market was facilitated by the Georgian-Armenian Business Association (GABA). According to Lali Svimoniya, the association’s founder and director, Helio.AI marks GABA’s first official project in Armenia, with more than 20 other Georgian companies already expressing interest in the Armenian market.
Prior to its official launch, Helio.AI conducted extensive market research in Armenia. In the coming weeks, company representatives will meet with local business leaders to demonstrate the practical applications of AI solutions and the specific pain points the platform can address for Armenian employers.
