YEREVAN. – An investment exhibition was organized, within the framework of the Moscow Days currently being held in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, during which the country’s several companies were given the opportunity to present their investment program proposals.

An official Moscow delegation—led by the Russian capital’s Government Minister  Sergei Cheryomin—also toured the exhibition pavilions, Yerevan City Hall Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Cheryomin stressed that today there is a wide field of investments in Yerevan and Moscow alike, and numerous joint programs can be carried out in the future.

Aside from the investment exhibition, an investment forum was also held. Its objective was to design Armenian-Russian investment programs, and to establish and enlarge business connections among the investors.

The forum discussants examined urban economy management issues.

City Hall official Armen Harutyunyan presented to the guests the investment programs envisioned for Yerevan.

Also, the participants discussed the tourism ties and commercial cooperation between Yerevan and Moscow, and the investment opportunities in the two capitals.
