YEREVAN. – The winner of Miss Armenia 2012 beauty contest was announced on Tuesday evening (Photos). Out of 18 girls Anna Arakelyan was chosen as winner.

As an award, the winner will represent Armenia in Miss World 2012 Beauty Contest. Armenia will participate in that famous contest for the first time.

Katerina Abrahamyan, 18, ranked 2nd, followed by Anita Gabrielyan, 17.

To note, the winner of the contest Anna Arakelyan likes to read. Her hobbies are bowling, dancing and tennis.

To remind, Miss Armenia 2012 beauty contest was organized for the 1st time after a 5 year break.

Eighteen girls of ages 18-24 participated in the contest.
