The village shall not differ from the city in terms of quality of life, Armenia’s President and the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Chairman Serzh Sargsyan stated during his parliamentary election campaign meeting with the voters of Ayntap village in the Ararat Region.

He recalled that the country’s government succeeded in preserving all social programs during the global economic crisis. Also, the President toured the construction site of Ayntap’s kindergarten.

In Sargsyan’s words, a balanced regional development is one of the RPA’s priorities.

“There shall be a very small difference between the villages and the cities. The villages shall have accessible, [and] quality services. Your children’s education shall not be a problem for you,” the President said.

He called upon the villagers to vote on May 6 by listening to their conscience.

And speaking about the election battle, he noted that the formation of a mutual respect is a preferred environment.
