Israel’s Agriculture Minister Orit Noket headed for the South Caucasus on Sunday, and she will be in Armenia for two days.

The objective of her visit to capital Yerevan is to specify the prospects for bilateral cooperation in agriculture and to discuss, with her Armenian colleague Sergo Karapetyan, the avenues for carrying out joint programs.   

During her stay in Armenia, the Israeli minister is scheduled to also meet with PM Tigran Sargsyan and the Catholicos of Al Armenians, Karekin II. 

In addition, Orit Noket will visit the Yerevan Brandy Factory, lay a wreath to the Armenian Genocide Memorial, and tour Yerevan’s Matenadaran (Armenian ancient manuscript museum).
