GLENDALE. – The campaign of Greg Krikorian which aims to become a member of the 43rd State Assembly District is supported by a political icon from California. Former Governor of California George Deukmejian supports Krikorian’s candidacy, Asbarez reports.

“I am truly humbled to receive Governor Deukmejian’s endorsement. Over the course of my career in public service, Governor Deukmejian has been an inspiration to me,” Krikorian stated.

The former politician who rarely appears in public recently has stepped forward and is supporting Krikorian.

“California can no longer afford ‘politics as usual’, with a revolving door legislature which replaces one bureaucrat with another. We need fresh leaders to move our state beyond the status quo and break the partisan barriers,” Governor Deukmejian stated.

The primary is on June 6 and the General Election is on November 5, 2012.

The candidate at 46th electoral district Adrin Nazarian has all the chances to win the June Primary election, a recent poll conducted by Goodwin Simon Strategic Research shows.

According to Asbarez, Nazarian is supported by Council member Paul Krekorian, the County Federation of Labor, L.A.’s Firefighters, Police Officers (PORAC), the Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA), and many of the neighborhood council leaders in the district.
