YEREVAN. – An explosion occurred in Yerevan’s Shengavit district and a fire broke out, the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am informs from the scene.

According to preliminary information, the gas balloon in a small house exploded. Neighbors told out reporter that they heard the explosion first and then saw the smoke. The fire was rather intensive, the one story house fully burned. There is no information on victims and deaths yet.

Two firefighting brigades are trying to extinguish the fire.
