A McDonald’s employee might be imprisoned for 20 years for spitting in the beverages of customers.

Marvin Washington from Simpsonville was arrested on Wednesday. According to the investigation, on April 14 a woman and her daughter ordered a sweet ice tea at McDonald’s, but it was not sweet. They asked to sweeten the tea but it still turned out to be not sweet. They decided to go home and add sugar themselves. However, when they opened the lid of the cup at home they saw something like spit in their tea, NEWSru.com reports. 

The outraged customers reported to the police. Soon after the investigators got hold of a video in which it is visible how Marvin Washington leaned over the cup before pouring the tea. That is when he probably spited in the cup.

20 years of imprisonment threatens him.
