YEREVAN. – The growing tension over Iran and the likelihood of a war have become reasons for the Iranian Armenians’ emigration from that country, economist Tatul Manaseryan stated during a press conference on Wednesday.

He informed that numerous Iranian Armenians are currently looking for real estate in Armenia, and this, as per the economist, has stabilized the real estate prices in the country.

According to Manaseryan, however, the Armenian-Iranian joint projects will be suspended in the case of a war in Iran. In addition, Armenia would lose one of its accesses to the sea, and Georgia could take advantage of this situation and again raise the transportation transit fees.
