YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday received Yuri Chaika, the Prosecutor General of Russia.  

Sargsyan noted that the Armenian-Russian political dialogue and active economic cooperation also strengthen the two countries’ allied relations in the domain of legal protection, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

And Sargsyan considered the Russian President’s Medal of Honor given to Armenia’s Prosecutor General to be an assessment of this productive cooperation.

In his turn, Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika deemed the 2012-2013 Cooperation Program—which will be signed on Tuesday between the general prosecutor’s offices of Armenia and Russia—as yet another affirmation of the bilateral ties and close cooperation in the professional field.
