Little Eva Gevorgyan was diagnosed a cataract disease, which would lead to blindness and is not curable in Armenia. For already a year the child’s parents were trying to find sponsors for taking the child abroad for treatment.

According to the open letter sent to Armenian News-NEWS.am by the girl’s father Gurgen Gevorgyan, they have applied to many individuals and organizations for support but without any success. Artak Sargsyan charity foundation helped the family at last.

According to Eva’s father, the foundation responded very quickly as a result the girl received treatment in Saint-Petersburg.

 “With their support we were able to leave for Saint-Petersburg and get treatment for our child and she has good sight again,” the little girl’s father informs.

The Gevorgyan family expressed their gratitude to Artak Sargsyan foundation and Artak Sargsyan personally.
