YEREVAN. – The opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) on Sunday ended its parliamentary election campaign visits to the regions. Board Chairman Aram Manukyan of the Armenian National Movement Party—which is a part of the ANC—stated this during a press conference on Monday.

According to Manukyan, who is also a single-mandate MP candidate, over the course of these visits they recorded that the climate of fear, inhibition, and caution is gradually surmounted.

He added that, in line with his studies, the ANC will be the leader of the election campaigning, and over fifty percent of the people will vote in its favor.

Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008 after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18 parties and political forces.

ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
