YEREVAN. – Armenian capital Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was on hand at official “kick-off” of the annual neighborhood football tournament of the Malatia-Sebastia Administrative Region. 

This tournament, which is held for the fourth consecutive year, is becoming more popular every year among the Malatia-Sebastia teenagers and youth.

Welcoming the event’s participants, Margaryan stressed that this is not only an encouragement of a healthy lifestyle, but also a teenager and youth initiative toward managing free time.

Yerevan Mayor also noted that the City Hall will support and encourage so that such tournaments are held in all administrative regions of Armenia’s capital city.

The Malatia-Sebastia annual neighborhood football tournament will continue until October.
