YEREVAN.- National Security Service of Armenia (NSS) responded positively to the statement adopted by six parties who asked that it should provide data on voters, if necessary.

NSS is presently studying the technical opportunities to provide the necessary information, member of ruling Republican Party David Harutunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“I think we will receive the final answer tomorrow,” he said.

However, NSS set the following condition: parties or candidates should sign a document ensuring they will use information only during election disputes.

Earlier RPA, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Orinats Yerkir, Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia, and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) addressed the National Security Service asking for data on the voters absent from the state.
