YEREVAN. – Thursday is the third consecutive trading day, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, when the US dollar’s exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) is unchanged.

The dollar’s average exchange rate comprised AMD 392/$1 on this day. This is the first time since May 2009 that the dollar’s exchange rate has not changed at the stock exchange for three consecutive trading sessions.    

The total sales were $1.4 million.

No exchange rate fluctuations were recorded in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market either. The exchange offices buy and sell the dollar at the AMD 390-392.5/$1 range.
