YEREVAN. – Nagorno-Karabakh servicemen were engaged in a car accident on Yerevan-Goris road on Thursday, as Opel Sinatra [transporting the servicemen] and KrAZ vehicles crashed, Armenian News-NEWS.am source informs.
Armenian MOD PR representative Meri Sargsyan confirmed information to the agency.
As the agency informed earlier, Opel and KrAZ vehicles crashed. Opel driver, Zhirayr Sargsyan, 45, died at the site. The other six passengers, including servicemen Arthur Mkrtchyan, 24, Gor Hovhannisyan, 22, Arman Khachatryan, 23, Arthur Avanesyan, 23, Artak Sedrakyan, 23 and Shirak Harutyunyan, 22, were injured and hospitalized. Khachatryan later died, while health condition of the rest is serious.
