YEREVAN. – Treat others like you yourself would like to be treated. Head of Republican Party’s Political Council Aram Sargsyan quoted the Bible during the rally organized by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) on Thursday. “I ask all the voters, before going to elections think where you go and why? If you go because you are afraid of the governor, village head, because they have a mission and you must fulfill it, if you go voting and you don’t care who the MP will be, then take the bribe. But later don’t say that you have been robbed. They have given it you have taken it and you are not any better than they are, you made a deal and one side of the deal is always being deceived,” Aram Sargsyan said. Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008 after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18 parties and political forces. ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
