YEREVAN. – The joint election headquarter will discuss all the results after the voting is over, leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsaurkyan announced at the joint election headquarter.

Gagik Tsarkuyan said that after the voting he will discuss the results and will make a decision.

“We want the elections to be fair and just, so that everyone can see how many votes the nation gave to parties,” Tsarukyan mentioned.

Armenian Revolutionary Federation’s representative to the joint headquarter Armen Rustamyan announced that they are concerned because of the Central Election Committee’s announcement that as of 5.00 p.m. 1.3 million voters had voted. According to him this is the same number as the number of voters during the previous elections.

“We must try to find out what the reason of such ‘activity’ is,” Armen Rustamyan said.

Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations – Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, opposition Armenian National Congress, opposition Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party.

For entering a 131-seat National Assembly, parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
