YEREVAN. – An 80-year-old woman got a heart attack at polling station number 6/18 in Yerevan and was hospitalized, the electoral committee member of the polling station told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to the source, the woman was registered at polling station number 6/17 but was resting at polling station 6/18.

To note, parliamentary elections are being held in Armenia on Sunday.

Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations – Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, opposition Armenian National Congress, opposition Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party.

For entering a 131-seat National Assembly, parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocks - over 7%.
