YEREVAN. – Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) won the elections by a large margin in 66 precincts (capital city ruled out), Shant TV reports the first unofficial data. 20,080 votes are counted.

The votes are distributed as follows:

Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) – 61.8% (12,415)

Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) – 21.3% (4,273)

ARF Dashnaktsutyun – 5.5% (1,101)

Orinats Yerkir – 4.9% (985)

Armenian National Congress (ANC) – 2.7% (549)

Heritage – 2.6% (512)

Communist Party of Armenia – 0.8% (155)

Democratic Party of Armenia – 0.3% (55)

United Armenians – 0.1% (26)

The TV channel submits data for 1.4 percent of voters having participated in the elections.

Eight political parties and one bloc participated in the parliament elections in Armenia: Republican Party of Armenian, Prosperous Armenia Party, Orinats Yerkir, Armenian National Congress, Heritage Party, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, the Communist Party of Armenia, Democratic Party of Armenia and United Armenians Party. For entering a 131-seat National Assembly (Parliament), parties must poll over 5% of votes, while blocs - over 7%.
