YEREVAN. – Armenia hopes that the upcoming nuclear talks between Iran and the six world powers, including the United States, Britain, Russia, China, France and Germany will be effective, said Armenian FM.

Edward Nalbandian and his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi met in Egypt within the frameworks of the regular meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Non-Aligned Movement.

Nalbandian said that Iran always opposed any disputes among its neighboring states. He also invited Salehi to visit Armenia in the near future, IRNA reports.

In his turn, the Iranian FM referred to historical ties between Iran and Armenia and stressed that neighboring states should work together in a friendly atmosphere to avoid any misunderstanding.
