YEREVAN. – The international organizations have highly assessed Armenia’s 2011 macroeconomic indicators and coordination of the monetary and fiscal policies, PM Tigran Sargsyan said during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

As a result, the talks, which were conducted in May with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), were held without any problems, and Armenia’s programs were approved.

“Our macroeconomic stability strengthened in 2011, [and] we will secure a policy of continuing the economic growth,” Sargsyan stated.

He also recalled that, after the May 6 parliamentary elections in Armenia, Moody’s rating agency likewise positively assessed the country’s situation.
