YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s exchange rate continues to rise in Armenia’s financial market.

Although no foreign currency trading was conducted Monday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, the banks presented a demand even at an exchange rate of AMD 401.5/1$. But the minimum offer was at AMD 402/1$.     

Also, there already are banks which have fixed the dollar’s purchase exchange rate at AMD 401/1$ in the country’s cash foreign currency market, and the US currency be attained at a minimum of 403/1$.
