YEREVAN.- Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Orinats Yerkir will continue cooperation under the guidance of President Serzh Sargsyan and based on his programs, RPA spokesperson said.

Asked whether the parties will form a coalition, Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am that it is a technical issue.

“Orinats Yerkir has already voiced its support for Serzh Sargsyan during the 2013 presidential elections. The parties are likely to sign a new memorandum or make a statement but it will be a formal one,” he said.

The key point is Orinats Yerkir’s readiness to impalement the program which was signed back in 2008, he added.

Sharmazanov said RPA has not discussed the issues of political posts yet. “We are likely to meet till May 30 to finalize everything,” he concluded.
