YEREVAN. – Haykakan Zhamanak daily reflects on the matter of allotting to Armenia’s Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party (RLP) the National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker’s post, which remained vacant from the quota that was allocated to the Prosperous Armenia Party.      

“According to the news being circulated among the ruling elite, if one of the [two] NA Deputy Speaker’s positions is given to Orinats Yerkir, a woman will be appointed to this post. And, naturally, that woman should be Heghine Bisharyan. And if Bisharyan—who was to head the NA RLP Faction—assumes the NA Deputy Speaker’s post, [RLP Vice Chairman] Mher Shahgeldyan will head the RLP Faction,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
