YEREVAN. – The World Cleanup 2012 action, which is being held along the lines of the Let’s do it! World civic movement, kicked off on March 24 and it will continue until September 25.

Over ninety countries are participating in the event.   

Armenia, too, has joined this global campaign, which will be held in the country on September 15, and within the framework of the “Armenia without Garbage” volunteer initiative of the Let’s do it! Armenia movement, the Police Press Service informs.  

Armenia’s Police likewise expressed a readiness to join this volunteer movement.
