YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry received a call, on Wednesday at 12:32, informing that there was a cave-in at a capital city Yerevan construction site and a man was left under reinforced concrete.   

A special rescue squad and an operative team, along with paramedics, were dispatched to the scene.  

It was found out that construction worker A. Barseghyan, 53, was left under metal construction building blocks while overlaying concrete, the Ministry’s press service informs.      

Barseghyan was transferred to hospital by ambulance.

The doctors say Barseghyan is in critical condition.
