YEREVAN. – Opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary group held its first meeting on Wednesday and released a statement.
“The May 6 parliamentary elections instead of being the day of victory of the democracy and free expression of will in the state, was marked by state-organized and unprecedented election rigging.
The ANC group will not participate in the Thursday session of the newly formed Parliament as a sign of protest against the crimes committed by the regime of the incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan against people. At the same time, the group will actively participate in the work of a new parliament,” the statement reads.
