VOLGOGRAD. - The inspectors of Volgograd’s Investigation Department are conducting investigations on the kidnapping of a 20-year-old Armenian female student of Volgograd University, who was kidnapped after she stole social network account belonging to an Azerbaijani student.

As the investigators told V1.ru, several months ago an unknown person stole the Vkontakte social network account of a 23-year-old Volgograd University Azerbaijani student. The clone constantly sent insulting messages to the friends and relatives of the Azerbaijani student. One of the student’s friends reported to the police after receiving a message, and the police officers arrested the Azerbaijani student. Later it came out that the messages were sent from a different computer and Azerbaijani student was not guilty. Moreover, the messages were sent from the computer installed in the 20-year-old Armenian girl’s apartment, who is also studying at Volgograd University.

On the following day, the girl went to university but did not return home at the promised time. On the following Saturday and Sunday messages were sent from the girl’s phone to her friends and relatives saying that the girl will only be returned if the Azerbaijani student whose account was copied will go to the Lenin Square in downtown Volgograd. Law enforcement officials arrived in the given place at the given time but did not find anyone suspicious. Following the phone traces the policemen were able to discover that the girl was in Volgograd on Saturday but then was taken to Moscow. There she managed to escape and reported to the police. Currently she is staying with her uncle.
