YEREVAN. – As a result of talks between Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) leader—and President—Serzh Sargsyan and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Chairman Gagik Tsarukyan, an agreement was reached, according to which the PAP will support Sargsyan’s nomination in next year’s presidential elections, and, in return—and after the elections—it finally will assume the PM’s post, 168 Zham daily writes.

“That is to say, a coalition government—this time led by the PAP—will be formed following the presidential elections.

In response to the query as to whether or not Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan reached such accordance, RPA Vice-Chairman Galust Sahakyan told the newspaper: ‘Frankly, I do not have such information; no such matter is discussed today,’” 168 Zham writes.
