TBILISI. – The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left for Georgia within the regional tour.
Clinton will stay in Batumi for two days and then will head to Baku on Wednesday.

The U.S. Secretary will meet with the Georgian President Mikhеil Saakashvili and other officials, as well as the Georgian opposition on Tuesday.

Clinton along with the Georgian PM Nikoloz Gilauri will co-preside over the session of the US-Georgia strategic partnership commission scheduled for Tuesday in Batumi. The session will be followed by meetings of the working groups, established within the frameworks of the Charter of strategic partnership, directed to the development of defense, security, energy, economy, trade, and democracy cooperation between the nations.
