YEREVAN.- The government of Armenia accepted resignations of Governor of Vayots Dzor Region Sergey Bagratyan and Governor of Gegharkunik Region Nver Poghosyan.

The former governors are members of the Prosperous Armenia Party which refused to form coalition with the Republican Party having majority of seats in the newly elected parliament.

Premier Tigran Sargsyan expressed gratitude to governors for their work during the Thursday session.
