YEREVAN. – While driving a BMW, Roman Hakobyan, 29, went off road and crashed into a utility pole alongside a downtown street at Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, on Wednesday at around 1:55am. As a result, one person died while three others received injuries and were hospitalized, the Road Police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

Mariam Gevorgyan lost her life, whereas Shamiram Grigoryan is in critical but stable condition. Grigoryan informed that they are exotic dancers and Gevorgyan was named Maga, the hospital informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, information was received, on Wednesday at around 2am, that a road accident had occurred nearby an Armenian capital city Yerevan intersection.  

It was found out that a BMW—with driver R. Hakobyan, born in 1983—had gone off road and crashed into an open-air café pole. 

As a result, Shamiram Grigoryan, 21, sustained injuries and was transferred to hospital, whereas the second injured, Mariam Gevorgyan, died in hospital.
