YEREVAN. – The Armenian delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed reports about the visiting an Azerbaijani captive.

Representative of ICRC Armenian delegation Ashot Astabtsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am they had visited captive and handed over letters. He also handed a letter to his relatives.

Azerbaijani soldier Mamedbahir Akhundzadeh surrendered himself on the contact line between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan on January 23, 2012. Akhundzadeh says he is does not want to return to Azerbaijan.
