The Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, made new designations within the dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church. 

In line with these decisions, Fr. Bardughimeos Hakobyan is relieved of his duties at Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Diocese and he will continue his services at the Diocese of Bulgaria. Fr. Komitas Tigranyan will transfer from Armenia’s Syunik Diocese to the Vayots Dzor Diocese.   

Also, Fr. Hovsep Aleksanyan, who serves at capital city Yerevan’s Saint Gregory the Illuminator Mother Church, will continue his services at Armenia’s Kotayk Diocese, and Fr. Stepanos Hovhannisyan will serve at the Syunik Diocese. 

In addition, newly-ordained priests Fr. Rafayel Khachikyan and Fr. Sevak Gabrielyan will commence their religious services at the Syunik Diocese and at Saint Gregory the Illuminator Mother Church respectively.
