At the exact same time when the Euro 2012 football championship is just getting hotter, Poland and Ukraine publish materials on the issue of their benefits as a whole. It is already not a secret that the current championship is the most expensive one as compared to the previous ones.

Poland spent over €25 billion, while Ukraine €11 billion for hosting it. In case Poland has a strong economy and relatively large budget and losses will not be so tough to cover, Ukraine is likely to suffer while covering them.

As for the UEFA, it may be just proud of receiving income. It will have a record income of €1.35 billion, out of which €840 million come from match broadcasting. Fans will enrich the organization with €125 million, while the sponsors will invest only €290 million.
