YEREVAN. – Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov’s statements on adopting mechanisms to investigate incidents are required, but if it is established under Azerbaijanis’ conditions, it will be no longer required. Hence, it comes to confirm that the Azerbaijanis MFA head does not deal with the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement but simply runs propaganda, Armenian deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan said commenting on the Azerbaijani FM’s approaches on adopting mechanisms of incidents’ investigation on the line of contact. 

“It is likely that Baku torpedoes the negotiation process, as settling the conflict, there will be no necessity in the Azerbaijani MOD,” Kocharyan said. “If Baku is indeed interested in strengthening the status-quo, it should have long time ago undertaken responsibility for initiated aggression against Karabakh’s self-determination and its consequences, return occupied Karabakh territories and only after it to carry out responsibility that Azerbaijani authorities have, including the one to adopt the mechanisms of investigating incidents.”
