The first snake-bite case was reported Thursday in Armenia’s Lori Region. The incident occurred in Spitak city at around 3pm, Armenian News-NEWS.am’s Lori regional reporter informed. 

The snake bit the left hand of Vanadzor city resident Gerasim Gevorgyan, 43. He was immediately taken to hospital, where he was administered an antidote and he refused further medical examination.  

Doctors say Gevorgyan is in satisfactory condition.
