STEPANAKERT. – The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Central Electoral Commission (NKR CEC) convened a session on Friday, during which was discussed the matter of registering as presidential candidates the citizens who nominated themselves as NKR presidential candidates, the CEC informs. 

And after deliberations, the CEC decided to register the following persons as NKR presidential candidates:

Vitali Balasanyan – NKR National Assembly member; no party affiliation. 

Valeri Khachatryan – pensioner; no party affiliation. 

Bako Sahakyan – Incumbent NKR President; no party affiliation.    

Arkadi Soghomonyan – Deputy Director of Academic Activities at the NKR capital Stepanakert Branch of State Agrarian University of Armenia; no party affiliation. 

To note, the NKR presidential elections will be held on July 19.
