YEREVAN. – The Mormons, that is, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will convene a congress-conference in Armenia on Sunday, and numerous “high class” Mormons from the US will be on hand at the event, Hraparak daily writes. 

“Their conference becomes twice as interesting against the backdrop of the developments unrolling these days within Armenia’s domestic politics with reference to the donations made [in Armenia] by the Mormons’ leader John Huntsman and [Armenia’s The Civilitas Foundation’s Founder and Chairman, Prosperous Armenia Party MP, and Armenia’s former FM] Vartan Oskanian,” Hraparak writes.
