YEREVAN. – The Government’s program will be submitted to Armenia’s National Assembly on Wednesday, the ruling Republican Party MP Gagik Minasyan informed during a press conference on Monday. 

In his words, the main idea in the plan is competitiveness. According to him, if no shocking risks occur like in the previous years, the Cabinet of Ministers is prepared to continue the programs it had started. 

At the same time Minasyan stressed that the Government’s plan will be ineffective without combating the misuse by those who have a dominant position in Armenia’s economy.     

“The existence of a dominant position is not prohibited by law, [but] misuse of the dominant position is condemned. The fight against such misuse will be lot more effective in the coming years,” said Gagik Minasyan.

And in terms of resolving the problems, the MP underscored the coordination of efforts and, in this context, the PM’s recent meetings with the parliamentary forces.
