YEREVAN. – The Government is not ready to acknowledge its own mistakes in economy, Armenian Former FM, member of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) parliamentary group Vartan Oskanian announced criticizing the Government Program of 2012-2017 which is being considered in the parliament.

“In 2009 we registered an economic downfall of 14.5 percent. Yes, the reason was a construction decline and who else other than the cabinet of ministers could and should have foreseen it? In 2008 PM Tigran Sarsgyan returned from the U.S. where already the banks were going bankrupt, nevertheless he proposed a budget program with 9 percent economic growth in 2009,” Oskanian said.

According to him, it is not clear what corrections the Government will make in case of another crisis.
