YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s exchange rate hit a record high at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday.
As a result of trading, the dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian Dram (AMD) comprised AMD 418.95/$1, and this is a 0.32-percent—or a 1.34-point—increase from the previous session on Wednesday.
And this is the US currency’s highest exchange rate in Armenia ever since June 27, 2006.
The total sales were $4.85 million.
And the dollar is bought at a maximum of AMD 418/$1, in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is sold at a minimum of AMD 420/$1.
