YEREVAN. – Armenia’s delegation led by First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan is in Batumi, Georgia, where it is participating in an international conference devoted to defense and security issues.

During the event, which is being held from Thursday to Friday, the participants will discuss matters concerning security in Europe and the South Caucasus, cyber security in the Euro Atlantic region, future plans of the international peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, and regional threats and challenges, MOD press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.       

Along the lines of the conference, Tonoyan also delivered a presentation Thursday on “The International Organizations’ Role in Developing Regional Security in the South Caucasus.”
