YEREVAN. – Islamic Republic of Iran’s newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Mohammad Reisi, presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Friday.

The President congratulated Ambassador Reisi for starting his diplomatic mission in Armenia, and expressed a hope that during his tenure the diplomat will do his utmost to further strengthen Armenian-Iranian ties and deepening cooperation, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

I his turn, Mohammad Reisi noted that Iran places a great importance to deepening relations with Armenia, and assured the he will contribute as much as possible to deepening ties between Armenia and Iran.  

President Sargsyan and Iran’s ambassador discussed bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
