YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Rescue Service received a call, on Tuesday at 7:56am, informing that a fire had started at the rooftop of capital city Yerevan’s Prague Hotel. 

Two firefighting squads were dispatched to the scene, the Rescue Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

It was found out that the fire had started at the Hotel’s first-floor sauna. The fire was extinguished at 8:17am.  

The 12-square-meter sauna and close to 70 square meters of the hall’s suspended ceiling were completely destroyed by the fire.
