An unknown person broke into a kindergarten after Charles Perro and took some hostages not far from Paris in Vitry-sur-Seine on Tuesday.

The criminal took several children and elderly as hostage, but after a while released the children.

Currently offender keeps at least one person in the building, Agence France-Presse reports.

According to preliminary information, he is a former soldier, 30 years and acted alone, Vesti.ru reports.
